    This institution was the first one in Latin America to offer distance education, starting in 1976 with an Education Sciences degree. Conscious of this privilege, it aimed to promote digital learning, improve information sources and facilitate the transition from paper books to eBooks.
  • Solution

    A personalized desktop including shortcuts to the virtual library and to academic services allowing students to manage their administrative needs, access their reports and information about courses, allowing them to enroll if they wish, as well as other services. This is an exclusive learning environment for long distance students. Also, there is a section that allows to create and publish your own texts, some of them in eBook format, using the support of MS2S editorial services.

    The university gained interactivity and consolidated itself as a world leading institution in digital education. It improved its informative capacity and its administration management. It increased the number of education resources available, especially regarding audiovisual material. It optimized and improved their virtual classroom. It enhanced communication between teachers and students thanks to thematic communities. It also reduced spending on teaching material.
